Physics 481/482/Materials 148 - Advanced Materials Lab

Physics 481/482 - Advanced Laboratory I and II

Two credit hours each. Prerequisite, Physics 351 or 352 or permission. Selected experiments illustrating modern techniques
such as the use of laser technology to study the interaction of electromagnetic fields and matter. Six laboratory hours a week.

Physics 491 - Materials Laboratory I

Two credit hours. Prerequisite, Physics 352. Pre- or corequisite, Applied Science 470. Structure determination
and measurement of the optical, electrical, and magnetic properties of solids.
Fall. Tsui, Parikh.
