President

While official duties of the president are quite humble: (a) Cleaning the graduate lounge; (b) Ordering the departmental T-shirts; (c) Organizing elections; President spear-heads most GSA efforts, and unconditionally leads GSA activities directed at whatever injustice the department throws our way.

Vice-President

Picks up President's slack.

Graduate Affairs Committee

If you have a problem sourcing from within the department, these are the people to talk to. They are responsible for making sure the concerns are heard, and acted upon, by the those in power.

Grievance Committee

If your complaints have little to none effect, you may file a formal grievance. This committee is responsible for walking you through the process and acting on your behalf.

Computing Committee

If you have a problem sourcing from within the department's computers/network, this committee are the people to talk to. They are responsible for making sure the concerns are heard, and acted upon, by the those in power.

Prospectives' Liasons

Basic job is to attract students into our department. When prospectives visit, our lisaons take them out to eat, drink, drive them around -- make them feel better than at home.

Social Tsars

These social animals organize all GSA events, except elections, and make everyone feel bad for not attending them. Delegated duties are: (a) Organize the annual Kerr Lake camping trip; (b) Organize the annual departmental picnic.

GSA Webmasters

Resposible for the design, maintenance, and content of this site.

Demo Gods & K-12 Outreach

Coordinate with local schools to put on physics demonstrations and recruit additional help for said shows.
