Preliminaries: 3-semester introductory sequence of mechanics, electricity & magnetism, relativity, and quantum mechanics PHYS 116 (PHYS 26), PHYS 117 (PHYS 27), PHYS 128 (PHYS 28), PHYS 128L (PHYS 28L). MATH 231-233 (MATH 31-33) (calculus I-III) and MATH 383 (MATH 83) (linear algebra and differential equations). CHEM 101/101L (CHEM 11/11L) and CHEM 102/102L (CHEM 21/21L) (general descriptive chemistry).

II. Required Classes:

III. Plus an additional 2 electives chosen from:

• Any physics or astronomy course numbered above 300
