  • July 09: David has successfully defended his PhD thesis: Development of a Carbon Nanotube Field Emission Based Microbeam Cellular Irradiator. Congratulations Dr. Bordelon!
  • May 09: Yueh Lee, MD/PhD, won the basic science research award at today's Radiology and Biomedical Research Imaging Center Symposium. This is the 3rd time he won the award at this annual event. The rumor is that he will be banned from presenting in this meeting in the future. The title of his talk is Prospective Cardiac Gated Mouse Imaging with Carbon Nanotube Micro-Computed Tomography, Yueh Z. Lee, Guohua Cao, Laurel Burk, Jianping Lu, Otto Zhou
  • Apr 09: Ramya has successfully defended her PhD thesis today. Congratulations to Dr. Rajaram! The title of her thesis is: A stationary digital breast tomosynthesis system: design simulation, characterization and image reconstruction.
  • Apr 09: Xiomara Calderon-Colon just won a Research Supplement grant from the National Cancer Institute. The grant will support her PhD thesis research on carbon nanotube field emission x-ray.
  • Feb 09: Congratulations to Peng Wang, Shabana Sultana, Guohua Cao and Xiomara Calderon-Colon. Their poster on "Design and characterization of a portable field emission micro-focus x-ray tube for micro-CT" won the best poster award at the 2009 SPIE Medical Imaging Conference last week in Florida.
