Computational Astrophysics

Many problems in astrophysics are highly non-linear and of substantial complexity, such that they are best approached via numerical modeling.

Charles Evans studies gravitational physics, and Fabian Heitsch focuses on gas-kinetic methods for (magneto-)hydrodynamics in astrophysical flows.
