Live Video Feeds, via WEBCAM
Live Webcam video feeds now available! Click on the icons of the SOAR Telescope, located in Chile, to view live exterior and interior shots of the telescope. Click on the SALT icon to view the Southern African Large Telescope, located in the heart of the Roggeveld mountains in South Africa.

Astronomy Journal Club
The Astronomy Journal Club gathers once a week, faculty and students gather to hear about and discuss a recent article (or more) of special interest. We meet in Phillips 277 at 12 p.m. every Friday, and everyone is welcome. The talks are very informal.

Astrophysics Research Seminar
The seminar meets in the lounge from 3:30-5:30pm on select Fridays (typically 3rd Fridays), with a 1-hour visitor talk or two 1/2-hour internal talks followed by a social hour with refreshments.
