Spacetime Foam featured in Discover magazine
January 2004 -- Story number 52 in Discover magazine's "100 Top Stories of 2003" discusses "Space-Time blurriness"
in the form of spacetime foam.
Researchers at the University of Alabama claim to have found evidence against
the existence of such quantum fluctuations. Discover quotes UNC's Y. Jack Ng at the end of the article: "They
overestimated the cumulative blurring effect, by a factor of at least a thousand trillion...No wonder they didn't
find it."
