usconsume.xls is an Excel spreadsheet that
1. plots the different contributors to 1949-2001 US energy consumption
2. extrapolates 
	a) oil+natural gas domestic & world supplies until 2040, based on 
	the analysis of the Oil Depletion Analysis Center (ODAC), a member 
	of the Association for the Study of Peak Oil (ASPO).
	b) use of nuclear fission, assuming decommissioning of 
		US reactors according to DOE and no new starts

3. allows one to generate "what if" scenarios such as
	- increased use of coal and alternative energies
	- new nuclear fission construction
	- exclusive exploitation of Iraqi oil for the US
	These scenarios are activated by changing defaults from 1.00 to
	e.g. 1.02 for 2% growth or e.g. 0.94 for 6% annual decline.
