Part 9 - Putting it All Together
The next several pictures are to help you align the components on the baseboard. This is something youÕll have to do through trial and error yourself. The pictures are just a guide.
DonÕt forget to connect the motors and sensors to the correct terminals on the RCX box.
Make sure the stage is pushed all the way up against the touch sensor when you attach the motor/gear box for the short scanning direction. This is to insure that you can scan the full range without running off the gear.
The flat plate toward the bottom of the laser tower attaches to the base of the scanner.
The laser tower is now in place with the sample stage.
