The recipes here are almost exclusively original renditions of popular dishes prepared by experienced cooks. Although each recipe specifies certain base ingredients, most will work well with substitutions, such as different meats in entrees, different fruits in ice creams, or different cheeses in fondues. Favorites are followed by a "*".
