NCCNM Visitor Information

Directions

To get to the UNC Department of Physics and Astronomy (NCCNM headquarters) from the Raleigh-Durham International Airport:

- Leave the Airport on AIRPORT BLVD heading West (0.4 miles).

- Take a right onto the I-40 West ramp towards Durham/Chapel Hill (11 miles).

- Take the NC-54 West exit number 273B towards Chapel Hill (3.1 miles).

- NC-54 becomes RALEIGH RD (0.9 miles).

- Turn right onto COUNTRY CLUB RD (0.3 miles).

- COUNTRY CLUB RD becomes CAMERON AVE (0.2 miles).

- Turn left at the second Stop sign you encounter on CAMERON. This should be the entrance to the Visitors Parking Lot.

- The UNC Department of Physics and Astronomy is located in Phillips Hall, which is the building which borders the far West edge of the Visitors Parking Lot.

- The Main Office is located on the 2nd floor, in room 278 (919-962-2078).
